Growing up, we had all the cool electronics early in their life cycle. Pong? We had it. Then came the Atari 2600, and the first real game craze I remember was Space Invaders. We had to get Colecovision (a very underated gaming platform).
But to me, the best gaming system was the Commodore 64.
With the 64, we had the ability to play a great game like Summer Olympics. But the thing I think I enjoyed more was programming. The 64 gave me the opportunity to have the line “Jody is the best!” be repeated on a neverending loop on the screen. What more could I want?
